Introduction -
The “PM Vishwakarma Yojana Scheme” was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 August 2023 and launched on September 17, 2023, to support traditional craftsmen and local artisans throughout the nation. Its Traditionally Crores of Vishwakarma's who create something or others by working hard with their hands tools and equipment are the builders of our country. The Country's has brought various incentives schemes for the first time to support the handwork for all these Vishwakarma's. These Schemes Vishwakarma's will bring a sea change in the lives of crores.
Objectives of this Schemes -
1. To enable the recognitions of artisans and craftspeople as Vishwakarma. Making them eligible to avail all the benefits under the Schemes.
2. To provide skill upgradation to done their skills and make relevant and suitable training opportunities available to them.
3. To provide support for better and modern tools to enhance their capability, productivity and quality of products and services.
4. To provide the beneficiaries an easy access to collateral free credit and reduce the cost of credit by providing interest subvention.
5. To provides incentives for digital transactions to encourage digital empowerment of Vishwakarma's.
6. To Provide a platform for Brand Promotion & Market linkages to help them access new opportunities for growth.
Eligibility Criteria -
1. An Artisans & Craftsperson working with hands and tools and engaged with one of the 18 family based traditional trades is mentioned in the schemes, unorganized sector on self employment basis shall be eligible for registration under PM Vishwakarma.
2. The minimum age of the beneficiaries should be 18 years on the date of registration.
3. The beneficiaries Should be engaged in the concerned trade on the date of registration and should not have availed loans under similar credit base Schemes of central government and state government for self employment business development like examples -PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, MUDRA in the past 5 years.
4. The registration and benefits under the schemes shall be restricted to one member of the family for availing benefits under the schemes a family is defined as consisting of the husband, wife & unmarried children.
5. A person in government services and their family members shall not be eligible under the schemes.
Schemes Benefits -
1. Recognitions - Recognitions as Vishwakarma's through certificate and ID Card.
2. Skilling - a. Skill verification followed by 5 to 7 days Basic training.
b. Interested candidates can also enroll for 15 days, 120 hours advanced training.
c. Training stipend Rs 500/- per day.
3. Toolkit Incentives - Rs -15.000/- grant.
4. Credit Support - a. Collateral free enterprise development Loans Rs. 1 Lakhs, for first amount for 18 months repayment, & Rs. 2 lakh 30 months repayment.
b. Concessional Rate of Interest - 5 % to be changed from the beneficiary with interest subventions cap of 8 % to be paid by MOMSME.
c. Credit guarantee fees to be borne by GOl.
5. Incentives for Digital Transaction - Re 1 per transaction for maximum up to 100 transactions monthly.
6. Marketing Support - National Committee for Marketing (NCM) will provide services such as quality certification, Branding & promotions E-commerce Linkages trade fairs advertising publicity and other marketing activities.

Step 2: Artisans registration form - Apply for the registration form.
Step 3: PM Vishwakarma certificate - Download the PM Vishwakarma ID and Certificate.
Step 4: Apply for Schemes components -: Start applying for different components.
